You see? My suggestion that there’s a whole retro resurgence of Polaroid usage is true. I was looking around out on the net for something else to share on the Gay Body Blog with you guys when one of my friends emailed me with these photos having seen me comment on the use of Polaroids.
It’s interesting to me, because the whole Polaroid is the photo, so they take the pic with a Polaroid, then take another photo of that photo… it’s only just occurred to me that this is the process, and it’s kind of strange, isn’t it? lol
Still, I don’t care about that so much when there’s a hunky guy like Valery Ualeron to check out in the shoot. He’s being snapped wearing nothing at all and being quite teasing in this collection of pics by photographer Amer Mohamad.
I know some of you are going to be a little disappointed to see pics of smoking again – and I have to agree it’s getting a little ridiculous now. I’ve seen this in a lot of shoots lately, and it’s becoming a bit of cliche.
Have we really gone back to a mentality where it’s cheaply promoted as something “defiant” and “cool”?
Each to their own and all that, but It’s getting a little predictable now, isn’t it?
